There is a Velcro slit in the bottom for those boards with traditional longboard fins.
  You do not have to remove fins from your board.  The zipper position is away from the rail area of your board for better protection when you set it down.  The zipper won't crunch into the rails and cause damage.   I've bought and used many of the other brands for my vintage collection and the Sticky Bumps bags are definitely the best.
